# Chonluten

Khavinson's 'bronchial' tripeptide EDG; no airway study exists, and only one first-hand report was found.

- Page: https://peprank.xyz/peptides/chonluten
- Category: Immune (Research peptide)
- Also known as: EDG; Glu-Asp-Gly; T-34; Cytogen AC-7; Хонлутен
- Routes: Oral / Injection
- Safety tier: Strict: Caution · Balanced: Caution · Evidence only: Clean
- Risk axes (0 none to 3 severe): Seen harm 0, Mechanism 1, Data gap 3, Silent harm 1, Product 3
- Positive: 43% of 1 graded reports glowing or positive, shrunk toward the 49% all-report average by 8 reports' weight
- Rank: #20 of 61 research peptides
- Graded reports: 1 (Mixed 1)
- Evidence: Animal only — One rat gastric-ulcer study (as T-34), one cell-line study in monocytes, docking models and an unpublished patent example in 80 healthy men under simulated altitude. Nothing has been published in airway cells, lung tissue or respiratory patients; the group's own bronchial-epithelium work used a different peptide, Bronchogen (AEDL).
- Access: Grey market
- Onset: Not felt acutely; the one first-hand user judged it over weeks of a course.
- Lasts: Taken as 1-month capsule courses repeated every 3-6 months, or 3-4 week injection cycles; the one report says the benefit faded within a couple of months.
- Cost per month: ≈ €72–100 (researchers' estimate)
- Updated: 2026-10-30

## What users report

Far too few reports to judge. The only first-hand account found is an asthmatic who ran Chonluten with Bronchogen: it seemed to help at the time, then the asthma came back 'with a vengeance' a couple of months later. A widely upvoted story of a builder's brick-dust asthma clearing after eight weeks of injected Chonluten is second-hand (a friend), so it is not counted. The rest of Reddit is smokers, COPD and asthma patients asking for a protocol, plus a vendor-affiliate guide pushing 10-20 mg injections. Felt nothing: Too few reports to count (one first-hand report).

**Effects:** claimed: easier breathing and fewer flare-ups in asthma or chronic bronchitis (one mixed first-hand report, one second-hand); claimed: lung recovery after smoking or pneumonia (manufacturer)

**Downsides:** benefit, if any, may not outlast the course; grey-market vials are dosed 50-100x higher than the capsules with no rationale; no effect can be separated from inhalers and other peptides used alongside

**Risks:** In the only cell study, Chonluten alone doubled apoptosis and triggered mild TNF release in undifferentiated human monocytes; a single-group in-vitro signal of unknown meaning; Grey-market injectable vials: purity, sterility and identity unverified

**Caveat:** Evidence that Chonluten does anything in the lungs is effectively absent: the respiratory label comes from the developers' tissue mapping and a review that cites a stomach study. EDG is a tiny acidic tripeptide with no named harm pathway, so the verdict reflects thin data rather than a credible risk, but nobody has published human safety data either, and injected grey-market vials (at 100x the capsule dose) are a different exposure from the capsules.

**Typical use:** Capsules: 1-2 capsules (0.1-0.2 mg) twice a day with meals for 1 month, repeated after 3-6 months (manufacturer). Grey-market vials: vendor guides suggest 10-20 mg subq every other day for 20-30 days, a dose with no published basis.

**Getting it:** Two products share the name. Khavinson-line Cytogen capsules (peptide complex AC-7) contain about 0.1 mg synthetic EDG per capsule and are sold as a supplement by bioregulator shops; Western research vendors sell 20-30 mg vials of EDG powder for injection. Some shops mislabel the capsules as a 'bronchial tube extract'; the Khavinson lung extract is a different capsule, Taxorest (A-19).

**Stacked with:** Bronchogen (The usual pairing for asthma, COPD or ex-smokers' lungs; the one first-hand report ran both.); BPC-157 or TB-500 (Suggested by vendor guides for 'lung repair' protocols; no reports of the combination.)

## Risk profile

- **Seen harm 0/3:** No serious adverse event has been reported in any source or first-hand account, but the zero reflects almost no documented human exposure (one first-hand Reddit report, an unpublished patent example), not reassurance.
- **Mechanism 1/3:** No named pathway to serious harm. The only signal is single-group in-vitro work in which Chonluten alone caused mild TNF release and about twice the apoptosis of other peptides in undifferentiated human monocytes, alongside anti-inflammatory effects in macrophages.
- **Data gap 3/3:** Registered nowhere as a drug, and no published human safety data for EDG: the only human figures are a patent example in 80 healthy men and a manufacturer claim about chronic bronchitis, neither peer-reviewed. Published work is one rat stomach study and one cell-line study.
- **Silent harm 1/3:** With no credible mechanism, rated on the most plausible harms: injection-site or allergic reactions to grey-market vials and stomach upset from capsules, which are mostly noticed at once and stop with the course.
- **Product 3/3:** Reddit users mostly buy grey-market 20-30 mg vials of EDG powder for subcutaneous injection, of unverified purity and sterility; the Khavinson-line capsules (0.1 mg per capsule, sold as a supplement) are the lower-risk alternative.
- **Never if:** Pregnancy or breastfeeding (no human reproductive data); Asthma or COPD patients replacing prescribed inhalers or steroids with it
