## What users report

There are very few user reports (low confidence). A handful of celiac and long-COVID users take it before restaurant meals and feel less bloating. Most threads are people asking where to buy it, and GI doctors often haven't heard of it. There are no negative experience reports, but the base is too small to estimate a 'felt nothing' share.

**Effects:** less bloating after accidental gluten (anecdotal); gut-barrier support in long COVID / MIS-C (early research)

**Downsides:** hard to source; sold as a 'supplement' by a few vendors; efficacy uncertain

**Risks:** Generic: unregulated supplement-channel product of uncertain identity

**Typical use:** 0.5 mg orally ~15-20 min before meals (trial dose 0.5 mg three times daily).

**Getting it:** No approved product; a few online vendors sell it as a supplement or research peptide of unverified identity.

**Stacked with:** BPC-157 and KPV (the gut-repair stack long-COVID and leaky-gut users pair it with.); strict gluten-free diet (celiac users take it as insurance against cross-contamination, not as a licence to eat gluten.)

## Risk profile

- **Seen harm 0/3:** Adverse events matched placebo across RCTs with 465 people on drug, and the 307-patient phase 3 stopped for futility, not safety.
- **Mechanism 0/3:** A locally acting oral tight-junction regulator with minimal absorption; no pathway to serious harm is known.
- **Data gap 1/3:** RCTs with several hundred people up to 12 weeks, but never approved and phase 3 safety results were never published.
- **Silent harm 0/3:** No harm signal; GI effects, if any, would be immediate.
- **Product 2/3:** With no approved product, the few sources are online 'supplement' or research vendors whose identity and dose are unverified.
- **Never if:** Pregnancy or breastfeeding (no human reproductive data)
