Day three of Russian peptides (pinealon, epitalon, vilon). Waking up feels like coming out of a years long coma. Sleep so deep that I got to the layer where time slows to a crawl.
Epitalon has been one is the most incredible compounds I've ever tried. I've been off it since late December, and my sleep has been BEYOND amazing even after stopping. Sleep is so easy and super deep.
Second cycle of Epitalon and Pinealon done. Noticed nothing - Felt like I wasn’t taking anything at all ... Wasted a lot of time and money on these two

with pinealon; first cycle lowered resting heart rate and raised HRV on retatrutide
Strict case
Its claimed mechanism, telomerase activation, is a theoretical oncogenic path, and the data come from a single group.
Users report
In cognitive and sleep threads many report clearly deeper sleep and more REM during a cycle, sometimes persisting weeks; some get worse sleep, and a few list it among peptides that did nothing. Perhaps 30-40% notice nothing. (The general-health page covers it in more depth.)
Best effects
Deeper sleep, more REM · circadian reset · sleep through the night
Downsides
Worse sleep in some · no effect for some · dose confusion (0.5 mg vs 5-10 mg)
Watch
Claimed telomerase activation and overcoming of the cell-division limit (Khavinson in-vitro work): a theoretical cancer-promoting path · all efficacy data from a single research group
Evidence
Small human studies — Russian, single group; plus animal
Typical use
0.5-1 mg/night for 10-20 days, 1-2 cycles/year (community; old protocols 5-10 mg). Users report 0.88–4.5 mg/day (median 2 mg, n=15).
Getting it
Research-peptide vendors (lyophilised 10-50 mg vials, also N-acetyl nasal sprays); a few US clinics and compounders used to supply it before the FDA put it on its Category 2 (significant safety risk) list.
Stacked with
Pinealon: The usual partner, run in the same 10-20 day window for sleep; users credit Pinealon with REM and Epitalon with circadian reset. · DSIP: Common bedtime pairing for sleep; several reporters ran both, so effects are hard to separate. · SS-31 / NAD+: Bundled into "longevity" or mitochondrial stacks taken a few times a year.

I used to dread going to bed. I genuinely felt fear. Fear that I wouldn’t be able to fall asleep, that I’d lay wide awake in bed for 8 hours, and that my day would suffer because of it. I now look forward to it. Epitalon has helped me so much.
just finished my 12 day epitalon cycle and i can confidently say it’s the best sleep peptide i’ve used so far ... the surprising part wasn’t that i slept more. it was that i needed less sleep to feel just as rested
I use 250 mcg 2-3 hours before bed and sleep so much better. Noticeable from the very first night. Talking about going from 4 hours of sleep to 7, immediately. It's a massive QOL difference *if* your problem is early waking.
GlowingSleep · 250 mcg, 2-3 h before bed · Injection · about 4 weeks
I’ve been heavily dependent on sleeping pills for years and I stopped using them after a week of my cycle. I’ve only been finished the cycle for a week but my sleep has still been drastically better than it was.
currently running first cycle of epitalon (day 12 at 600mcg/night). a 55 f with sleep issues the last 15 years. wow- huge increases in deep sleep and REM sleep--double the percentage for REM and DEEP.
GlowingSleep · 600 mcg/night · Injection · 12 days
Since beginning dosing Epithalon I’ve found a dramatic increase in the ability to recall 10-12 digits in a very photographic manner, replaying scenes from memory and accessing the information with ease like never before.
GlowingMemory · 2.5 mg/day, mornings · Injection · 12 days
I had literally years of sleep maintenance insomnia, waking up every single night from 2 to 4 am. I did one cycle of epithalon earlier this yaer (and didn't even finish it because it was making me feel a bit weird) and now I sleep like a baby through the night.
Epithalon is the only sleep peptide that works imo. It blows the others away for me. My deep sleep and wake up feeling refreshed is on another level with it
I finished a 20-day cycle of Epitalon and Pinealon, and it's maybe my favorite combo ever. I would wake up feeling incredible even after 6.5 hours of sleep. My RHR has dropped 7-9 bpm.
my main takeaway is this stuff is pretty powerful for preserving energy when you need to run a bit of a sleep deficit, i definitely felt similar energy levels on 6hr vs my 7hr avg.

So far of all the peptides I have taken. The one I noticed lasting effects from is Epitalon. Sleep has been amazing, Dreams have been vivid, and this is 2 weeks after my cycle ended.
Epitalon reset my circadian rhythm. I think a lot of peptides do nothing if there’s no problem. I had a problem as I’m aging with sleep and it helped with that.
I'm doing 1 mg a day for 10 days. I was doing it in the morning and then I was exhausted all day. I just switched to night. Definitely improving my sleep big time.
First night on Epitalon …. Massive improvements. Can’t believe it I’ve been struggling with sleep for the past 2 months since I started reta. Sleep went from 60% efficiency to 98%.

I did try the 100mcg protocol, didn't do much. 10mg was amazing, sleep was good, mood was lighter, inflammation reduced a lot. ... And just like you, after 3 weeks those benefits dissipated slowly.
Dreams are stronger now than they were at the start. Very vivid. ... The morning headaches have subsided. They ran about a week and a half and then stopped completely. - Sleep scores are consistently in the 70s before and after, no movement in either direction.
I ran oral Epitalon for 14 nights on a WHOOP and watched HRV go from 83 to 94.25 ms and deep sleep rise 5.5%, while REM fell 10%, which is the number nobody wants to post.
When I first started Epithalon I damn near had a panic attack because I'm so high strung and sympathetic dominant my system was not sure how to process that level of parasympathetic calm. I was asleep in 2 minutes

Just completed day 9 of 10 following the 10/20 protocol at approx 300mcg. I don’t have much to report. We were hoping for some better sleep, but haven’t seen any returns.
NothingSleep · about 300 mcg/day · 9 days (10/20 protocol)
I’ve been taking Pinealon and Epitalon for the last 15 days and have noticed absolutely nothing. Zero change in my deep sleep data or sleep quality in anyway
1. My deep sleep decreased almost 50% I started Epitalon June 1 and ended June 10. Average Deep Sleep in May vs June: - May: 48 min (15%) - June (MTD): 28 min (8%) 20 minutes less deep sleep on average.
Did a 10 day trial. My deep and rem sleep were worse on it. I already find it easy to fall asleep but wake often. Epitalon did not help me stay asleep through the night and I definitely feel more tired.
Apparently, I may be one of those people because my sleep went from 8-9 hours to 7 hours-and so much tossing and turning! It was the only variable I changed in my night routine
Not good. Completed the 20 days, no real improvement tbh ... Plus, since I’ve been off it my sleep has been AWFUL I can’t get to sleep then when I do it’s very broken.
NegativeSleep · 20 days

One week off of the epitalon. DEEP sleep still kicking ass. Here’s what is interesting the dreams have NOW gotten wildly vivid. I’ve had night they were wild enough to wake me up. Not bad. Wild.

Safety
Tier by safety barStrict ExcludedBalanced ExcludedEvidence only Caution
Each bead is one amino acid in the peptide's chain, coloured by its side chain: grey for non-polar, cyan for polar, blue for positively charged and fuchsia for negatively charged. Length and mix tell related peptides apart at a glance, from a two-residue dipeptide like carnosine to a 43-residue protein like thymosin beta-4. The colours describe chemistry only and predict neither effect nor safety.

Report grades
Every first-hand Reddit or X report is graded on its own, from glowing through positive, mixed, nothing and negative to bad reaction, and the bar shows how those grades split. Posts that look vendor-adjacent stay on the peptide's page but are left out of the counts.
GlowingPositiveMixedNothingNegativeBad reaction
% positive
The share of a peptide's graded Reddit and X reports that are glowing or positive, vendor-adjacent posts left out. A peptide with few reports is pulled toward the average of all reports, as if it had eight average ones besides its own, so two glowing posts cannot top the list. Kept peptides rank by the same reports' mean grade, shrunk the same way, and excluded ones follow in that order.
Researcher estimate
No first-hand report of this peptide has been graded yet, so the figure is the researchers' own rating out of 10 from what they read about it. It ranks alongside the computed scores until reports arrive.
Safety tier
Each peptide is tiered clean, caution or excluded from its five risk axes under the chosen safety bar. An excluded peptide has a plausible route to serious harm, so it stays listed with the reason but ranks behind every other entry, however good its reviews.
Safety bar
The safety bar sets how much risk it takes to exclude a peptide. Strict: out on any serious mechanism with little human data, or any documented serious harm. Balanced: out on documented serious harm (unless it is obvious, reversible and from a regulated product), or a serious mechanism whose harm would be silent with no human data at all. Evidence only: out only on documented serious harm in humans that is lasting, delayed or from grey-market product.
Seen harm
Documented serious adverse events in humans, from 0 for none despite real exposure to 3 for deaths or several well-documented serious harms. Serious means a hospital or emergency visit or harm lasting weeks, so a headache or a bad night does not count.
Mechanism
A plausible biological route to serious harm at the doses people use, such as growth-factor signalling, hormone-axis suppression, heart or blood-pressure effects or immune activation. It runs from 0 when none is known to 3 when a dangerous pathway has been shown in living animals.
Data gap
How little human safety data exists for the molecule actually sold, from 0 for an approved drug with large trials and years of use to 3 for no human safety data at all. A modified analogue does not inherit its parent's trials.
Silent harm
Whether the feared harm would show quickly or stay hidden, from 0 when it is obvious and goes on stopping to 3 when it is silent and delayed, like tumour promotion or slow organ damage. User reports cannot reveal a harm that takes years to appear, so a high score here limits what good reviews can tell you.
Product
The risk of what people actually buy, from 0 for a regulated pharmacy or supplement product taken by mouth or on the skin to 3 for a grey-market injectable. In one dataset of 6,441 grey-market samples, 42–71% failed basic quality criteria and 15% carried endotoxin.
Evidence
The strongest kind of study behind the peptide's effects, from an approved drug through human controlled trials and small human studies to animal work or nothing of its own. Animal results often fail to carry over to people.
Access
How people get it: as an approved drug, a compounded prescription, an over-the-counter supplement or from the grey market, where nobody checks the vial. The channel decides both the legal position and the risk of a bad batch.
Price per month
Thirty days of the typical dose, from its low end to its high end, priced at the listing a careful buyer would choose: in stock, from a shop scoring 4 of 5 on trust (third-party tested where no score is set), failing that 3, a pure pack before a blend, a European shop first, then the cheapest per mg. The range is the dose's, not the shops'. A per-dose amount counts once a day unless the dose says otherwise. Prices are in euros at ECB rates of 2026-10-29, before shipping; the shop table keeps each listing's price per mg, per gram for bulk supplements. Where no listing can be priced the researchers' own estimate stands in, and says so.
Dose users report
The middle half of the daily doses stated in at least five first-hand reports, vendor posts left out. Where its middle sits more than twice above or below the declared dose, the month is priced at it as well, since what people take is what they pay for.
Testing
Whether the shop publishes lab results: third-party tested means an independent lab checks each batch, own COA means the shop's own certificate of analysis, and no public tests means neither. A certificate shows purity, not safety.
Added peptide
Some packs sold under one peptide's name hold a second one, such as 5 mg GHK-Cu in a nasal kit, stated only in the description. Sprayed in the nose or injected it reaches the blood like an injection, so it carries the risk of that route and is tiered as the injectable form, whatever its tier on the skin. A pack whose page gives no contents list may hold more than its name.
