I couldn't even do 5 min on stairmaster, max 8. Today I did 25 min and left because it was time to go eat again but I could have done 30-40 min easy. It's so addicting getting stronger.
Currently at the hospital after my first shot of Mots C (1 MG) as I started experiencing anaphylaxis after 5 minutes. I had heard this could happen, but usually in high doses. Be safe everyone.

Strict case
Borderline: recurring reports of allergic sensitisation and anaphylaxis-like events, plus no human data on the native peptide at the doses used.
Users report
Many 'insane' posts: doubled cardio endurance, older users lifting like 20 years ago, strongest in over-40s and unfit people. Roughly 30% feel nothing ('placebo king'). A recurring minority get exhaustion or midday crashes, and high starting doses (5 mg) cause days of soreness or fatigue. Allergy is the dominant harm theme: injection-site welts that spread over weeks, then sudden whole-body hives or lip and throat swelling, sometimes after months on the same vial. At least four Reddit users describe emergency treatment for anaphylaxis (epinephrine, IV antihistamines, ambulance), one of them after a first 1 mg dose.
Best effects
Better cardio endurance · lower exercise heart rate · energy (esp. over 40) · insulin sensitivity / fat loss (with GLP-1s)
Downsides
Fatigue/crash in some · injection-site histamine reaction · headache at high doses
Watch
Repeated anecdotal reports of progressive allergic sensitisation, including anaphylaxis-like reactions · No human data on the native peptide (only analogue CB4211: 20 subjects, 4 weeks) · Generic: grey-market purity
Research-peptide vials (5-40 mg); since HHS enforcement discretion (29 Oct 2026) US 503A pharmacies may compound it. The CB4211 analogue never went past phase 1.

SS-31: Usually run first for 2-8 weeks as a mitochondrial 'repair' phase, then MOTS-c, or both at once; over-40 users credit the order for better results. · NAD+: The near-default companion (often 25-50 mg subq); together with SS-31 the three-part 'mito stack'. · Retatrutide or tirzepatide: Added to counter GLP-1 fatigue, which confounds most fat-loss claims; one user on 8 mg retatrutide had resting heart rate climb to 100-110 after adding it. · 5-Amino-1MQ: Paired in the same cycle for energy and fat loss; users seldom can say which compound did what.

I’ve been on MOTS for one month now, and since Day 1 have been completely PAIN FREE! I have been needing pain meds and procedures to manage issues for over 12 years!
It was shocking for me to go from having a hard time with 70 pounds on the inner thigh machine to 90 and 110 lbs no problem like I used to do almost 20 years ago. I'm 50 now so I think the older you are the more benefits you see.
I had a mitochondria test and it showed my mitochondria being dysfunctional. SS-31 then MOTSC has changed my life daily energy etc. I was chronically tired even with t levels over 760 and on GH getting great sleep.
3 weeks on MOTS-C now and getting a serious energetic buzz. It’s like being Neo in the Matrix. Twice as much stamina in the gym. Nervous system insanely regulated.
There was no surge of energy for me at 2mg, but something driving me quietly behind the scenes. I’ve gotta say, I’m highly impressed and quite excited about experimenting further with it!

Mots-c has become my go to pre-workout Helps me push harder in the gym and improves my cardio too ... On rest days and well slept days, I dont feel Mots-c at all - didnt find any use taking it

pre-workout; also on GLP-1s, which may account for the glucose changes
Mots-c turned me into a cardio beast. I am a very avvid cyclist, logging over 100 miles a week and strength train4 days a week. I noticed benefits in both areas, but especially on fasted high-intensity morning rides.
I did 1mg and 25 of nad+ and played soccer. My peak heart rate was 16 below what it normally is and I had slightly better endurance and slightly better performance. Incredible
I didn't start noticing anything until after 3 weeks and it was only prevalent when I was in situations where I was doing physically demanding stuff. That is when I realized I was not getting fatigued near as badly as I had previously.
I started at 5mg 3x per week and it was just too much, almost having a reverse effect later in the day with a crash. Switched to smaller doses daily, game changer.
I used it and noticed improvements in vascularity(visually and feel) and felt better on it overall on just 1mg daily. Alas, I ended up allergic to it, didn't like the reaction to it, it would also worsen any other injection sites near it.
Been running MOTS C (3mg 5x/week) for about 4 weeks (ran SS first). Not seeing the life changing results that everyone is spouting. Anyone else been underwhelmed by MOTS or just me?
The only thing I got from mots-c was lumps… tried 1mg, 2mg, 5mg, for well over two months… I had a quick wins here and there, but nothing like you mentioned above.
I can honestly say that I have never really noticed anything from Mots-c. It burns for a day or two. No energy boost, I noticed a good gym pump once or twice.

Def my heart rate went up... My rest heart rate is around 85..90... Now it’s 100..110. Also, at the gym, I felt my my heart rate going up without even lifting a lot of weight..

I started Mots-C 2 weeks ago and called my doc the other day about adding in SS-31 with it due to what I’ve read. ... I called her because I had crushing fatigue.

I started getting mild reactions from MOTS-c and pulled it from my protocol months ago. I’ve seen numerous reports of all the peptides above causing issues If you’re experiencing welting or hives, cut the peptide out immediately.

tried 3 vendors and several dilutions; same with SS-31
Well, Vigorous Steve warned me and after 3 months it finally happened. I took a 2mg dose yesterday morning and boy did that suck! I never want to go through that again.
Mots-c for me at .25 mg then .5 mg no reaction but 1 mg my throat began to get scratchy, lips tingling etc. I popped a few extra strength Benadryl and the symptoms resolved. I dont mess with Mots-C anymore.
When I took it this morning I started feeling very sick, got hives pretty immediately on my face, armpits, thigh stomach, was having a hard time breathing, and like I was going to pass out.

I was using Mots-c no problem for a couple weeks, then one morning after pinning I had a reaction. Itchy palms, tingly lips. Same vial. Came out of nowhere and freaked me out a little bit.
Mots-c 5mg at 0.5cc gives me bad histamine local reaction like 6+" in diameter. Going to dilute it 3x or more and see if it fixes but 5mg in 1cc didn't fix issue. Zyrtec works ok to prevent runaway reaction but still not very good.
I was on MOTS C for three months. On three months in two days, my tongue swallowed up, and I got hives over my entire body. I don’t think this shit should be on the market.
The longer I take mots-c the more I enjoy it. I didn’t expect much, and the effects are relatively subtle. But they’re absolutely notable. It heats me up a bit and makes my body and brain FEEL fresh and high energy.

Safety
Tier by safety barStrict ExcludedBalanced ExcludedEvidence only Excluded
Any previous reaction to MOTS-c, including hives or lip tingling · History of anaphylaxis or mast-cell disease · Pregnancy or breastfeeding (no human reproductive data)
CohBar 2021: topline results of the phase 1a/1b study of CB4211, a MOTS-c analogue (NCT03998514)rct · n=85 · 2021 65 healthy adults (1a) and 20 obese adults with fatty liver (1b, 25 mg/day for 4 weeks): lower ALT, AST and glucose than placebo, a non-significant trend to weight loss; injection-site reactions were the only common adverse event. Unpublished, and it is an analogue, not native MOTS-c.
Each bead is one amino acid in the peptide's chain, coloured by its side chain: grey for non-polar, cyan for polar, blue for positively charged and fuchsia for negatively charged. Length and mix tell related peptides apart at a glance, from a two-residue dipeptide like carnosine to a 43-residue protein like thymosin beta-4. The colours describe chemistry only and predict neither effect nor safety.

Report grades
Every first-hand Reddit or X report is graded on its own, from glowing through positive, mixed, nothing and negative to bad reaction, and the bar shows how those grades split. Posts that look vendor-adjacent stay on the peptide's page but are left out of the counts.
GlowingPositiveMixedNothingNegativeBad reaction
% positive
The share of a peptide's graded Reddit and X reports that are glowing or positive, vendor-adjacent posts left out. A peptide with few reports is pulled toward the average of all reports, as if it had eight average ones besides its own, so two glowing posts cannot top the list. Kept peptides rank by the same reports' mean grade, shrunk the same way, and excluded ones follow in that order.
Researcher estimate
No first-hand report of this peptide has been graded yet, so the figure is the researchers' own rating out of 10 from what they read about it. It ranks alongside the computed scores until reports arrive.
Safety tier
Each peptide is tiered clean, caution or excluded from its five risk axes under the chosen safety bar. An excluded peptide has a plausible route to serious harm, so it stays listed with the reason but ranks behind every other entry, however good its reviews.
Safety bar
The safety bar sets how much risk it takes to exclude a peptide. Strict: out on any serious mechanism with little human data, or any documented serious harm. Balanced: out on documented serious harm (unless it is obvious, reversible and from a regulated product), or a serious mechanism whose harm would be silent with no human data at all. Evidence only: out only on documented serious harm in humans that is lasting, delayed or from grey-market product.
Seen harm
Documented serious adverse events in humans, from 0 for none despite real exposure to 3 for deaths or several well-documented serious harms. Serious means a hospital or emergency visit or harm lasting weeks, so a headache or a bad night does not count.
Mechanism
A plausible biological route to serious harm at the doses people use, such as growth-factor signalling, hormone-axis suppression, heart or blood-pressure effects or immune activation. It runs from 0 when none is known to 3 when a dangerous pathway has been shown in living animals.
Data gap
How little human safety data exists for the molecule actually sold, from 0 for an approved drug with large trials and years of use to 3 for no human safety data at all. A modified analogue does not inherit its parent's trials.
Silent harm
Whether the feared harm would show quickly or stay hidden, from 0 when it is obvious and goes on stopping to 3 when it is silent and delayed, like tumour promotion or slow organ damage. User reports cannot reveal a harm that takes years to appear, so a high score here limits what good reviews can tell you.
Product
The risk of what people actually buy, from 0 for a regulated pharmacy or supplement product taken by mouth or on the skin to 3 for a grey-market injectable. In one dataset of 6,441 grey-market samples, 42–71% failed basic quality criteria and 15% carried endotoxin.
Evidence
The strongest kind of study behind the peptide's effects, from an approved drug through human controlled trials and small human studies to animal work or nothing of its own. Animal results often fail to carry over to people.
Access
How people get it: as an approved drug, a compounded prescription, an over-the-counter supplement or from the grey market, where nobody checks the vial. The channel decides both the legal position and the risk of a bad batch.
Price per month
Thirty days of the typical dose, from its low end to its high end, priced at the listing a careful buyer would choose: in stock, from a shop scoring 4 of 5 on trust (third-party tested where no score is set), failing that 3, a pure pack before a blend, a European shop first, then the cheapest per mg. The range is the dose's, not the shops'. A per-dose amount counts once a day unless the dose says otherwise. Prices are in euros at ECB rates of 2026-10-29, before shipping; the shop table keeps each listing's price per mg, per gram for bulk supplements. Where no listing can be priced the researchers' own estimate stands in, and says so.
Dose users report
The middle half of the daily doses stated in at least five first-hand reports, vendor posts left out. Where its middle sits more than twice above or below the declared dose, the month is priced at it as well, since what people take is what they pay for.
Testing
Whether the shop publishes lab results: third-party tested means an independent lab checks each batch, own COA means the shop's own certificate of analysis, and no public tests means neither. A certificate shows purity, not safety.
Added peptide
Some packs sold under one peptide's name hold a second one, such as 5 mg GHK-Cu in a nasal kit, stated only in the description. Sprayed in the nose or injected it reaches the blood like an injection, so it carries the risk of that route and is tiered as the injectable form, whatever its tier on the skin. A pack whose page gives no contents list may hold more than its name.
